Özgün İnşaat will realize the 362 MWp capacity Laghouat and 82 MWp capacity Guerrara solar power plant projects among the renewable energy tenders initiated within the scope of Algeria's energy transformation policies.
Özgün İnşaat managed to obtain work from two major tenders published within the scope of the program carried out under the leadership of Sonelgaz Group and which will reveal the renewable energy potential of Algeria in the best way. With these achievements, the company continues to represent Turkey in the global arena. This important step in the field of renewable energy will increase Algeria's energy independence, ensure environmental sustainability and contribute to its economic development.
The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreements, attended by the Algerian Minister of Environment and Renewable Energy, Mr. Faiza Dahleb, and the Algerian Minister of Energy, Mr. Mohamed Arkab, took place on 14 March 2024.
Within the scope of the projects, Özgün İnşaat will carry out the construction works including the connection of the facility switching stations and the electrical transmission system switching station transformer centers.
