As KRK Holding, we have added a new initiative to our social responsibility projects by visiting the ENCAN Association's animal shelter. Prior to the visit, we supported our furry friends by donating food to meet the shelter's needs. During our visit, veterinarian Mr. Ersen and shelter officer Ms. Esra took great care of us and provided important information about the shelter's activities and the animals being cared for. The shelter plays a significant role in the rehabilitation and treatment of homeless and needy animals.

ENCANDER (Association for the Protection and Care of Disabled and Needy Animals) is a living center founded in 2015 by Zühal Kadıoğlu, which takes care of over 450 animals. ENCANDER was established to provide care and treatment for disabled, sick, and needy animals, including those suffering from paralysis, abuse, or incurable diseases like cancer and FIP, in a home environment.

As Özgün İnşaat, we have officially commenced the Kherrata Tunnels Modernization Project located on the strategic RN09 highway between the Bejaia and Sétif provinces of Algeria. Constructed in 1985, the tunnels, with a total length of 6,264 meters, will be upgraded to meet modern standards and redesigned according to European norms. The primary goal of our project is to strengthen the region's transportation infrastructure and enhance the safety of the tunnels.

We are pleased to announce that our company has been awarded the tender for the modernization of the Kherrata tunnels, which are of strategic importance and located on the RN09 highway connecting the provinces of Bejaia and Setif. Originally completed in 1985, these tunnels will be redesigned and modernized in accordance with European standards, taking into account the current traffic intensity, and will include electro-mechanical works.

We are proud to announce that the provisional acceptance of "Kherrata Lot 02: Ouvrages d'Art" in Kherrata was completed in April, officially marking the entire project's completion. The “Travaux d’aménagement de Gorges de Kherrata” project, which has strategic importance and represents a significant step in the city's overall development plan, connects the provinces of Bejaia and Setif. This important project includes highly complex engineering structures (viaduct, semi-bridge, bridge, culvert, retaining wall) and 4 tunnels, which are unique in the world.

Özgün İnşaat will realize the 362 MWp capacity Laghouat and 82 MWp capacity Guerrara solar power plant projects among the renewable energy tenders initiated within the scope of Algeria's energy transformation policies.

Cahit Karakullukçu, Chairman of the Board of KRK Holding, was elected as a member of the High Advisory Board at the General Assembly of the Turkish Construction Employers' Association (INTES), one of the leading organizations in Turkey's construction industry, held on October 17, 2023.

As KRK Holding, we collected toys, play dough, coloring pencils and notebooks and children's books to be sent to the children in the earthquake area in order to support the "Oyuncak Kardeşliği" (Fellowship Toy) movement. In order to take this act of kindness one step further, we organized a bazaar where wooden designs of KRK Holding Electrical Works Coordinator Yüksel Süzer were offered for sale. As KRK Holding, we added an amount equal to the total income obtained from this bazaar to the donation and bought toys for the children in the earthquake zone.

Özgün İnşaat undertook the reconstruction of the Boztepe Channel, an artificial branch of the Aras River, in the Imişli region of Azerbaijan. 

The contract for "Works of NATM (the new Austrian method of tunneling) for the tunnels of the main line, the stabling line and the platform of the Atatürk station between the stations S2 and Temapark", which we undertook construction, was signed with IC İÇTAŞ on July 14th, 2022 and production started.

The Pendik-Kaynarca-Tuzla metro line consists of 8 stations with a total length of 12 kilometers operating on 2 independent lines. All work under the responsibility of Soner Temel Mühendislik, which took part in the project as the NATM (New Austrian Tunneling Method) Expert Team, has been completed.

In this context, within the scope of the '’Zero Waste Regulation'’ of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization published in the Official Gazette with the number 30829 on 12 July 2019, KRK Holding became entitled to obtain the "Zero Waste Certificate" by rapidly realizing the related processes in which it participated as Özgün İnşaat and completing all necessary studies.

We proudly share that the National Competencies for "Tunnel Worker (Level 3), Tunnel Worker (Level 4), Tunnel Boring Machine Operator (Level 3), and Shotcrete Machine Operator (Level 3)" which we are involved in through our brand Soner Temel Engineering, were approved by the MYK Board of Directors with its decision dated October 27, 2021, and went into effect as National Competencies. The newly established standards will increase the qualified workforce in tunnel operations and contribute to the personnel being better equipped in terms of occupational health and safety (OHS), quality, and technical capacity. We wish this to be beneficial for our sector.

On World Cleanup Day, which is the biggest cleaning movement of the year for a sustainable and livable future, we did a major coastal cleaning at Beykoz / Kabakoz beach.

Kaynarca-Pendik-Tuzla metro line construction works were restarted. The project, which gained speed after the "Kaynarca-Pendik-Tuzla Metro Line Construction Works Restart Ceremony", consists of 2 independent metro lines with a total length of approximately 12 km and 8 stations.

As KRK Holding, we planted trees in accordance with our 'sustainable environment' mission on June 5, which was declared as 'World Environment Day' by the United Nations.
Cahit Karakullukçu, Chairman of the Board of KRK Holding, attended in the program that we participated with the call of Sarıyer Municipality for "Ecosystem Repair".

As of August 2020, we, Soner Temel Mühendislik İnşaat ve Ticaret A.Ş. have reached 43% financial realization in the "NATM Tunnel Excavation Support Works" project within the scope of Başakşehir-Kayaşehir Metro Line Construction and Electromechanical Works, which we have started with subcontract signed on 21.05.2020. 

Within the scope of “Istanbul - Ankara High-Speed Railway Project”, “Design and Construction Works Between Geyve - Sapanca (Dogancay Ripaji)”, there are a total of 8 tunnels including 2 main tunnels and 6 security tunnels. 

Works on the execution and electrification of the railway line connecting the wilaya Tizi Ouzou to Thénia for 50 kilometers, to be entrusted to the group of companies of Texeira Duarte (Portugal), Ozgun (Turkey), ENYSE (Spain) and ETRHB Haddad (Algiers) is almost complete. Two weeks to come into service of this railway, the first train trials were held on 3 April with the Minister of Public Works and Transport, Boudjema Talai.
