Support Visit from KRK Holding to ENCAN Association Shelter

12.10.2024

As KRK Holding, we have added a new initiative to our social responsibility projects by visiting the ENCAN Association's animal shelter. Prior to the visit, we supported our furry friends by donating food to meet the shelter's needs. During our visit, veterinarian Mr. Ersen and shelter officer Ms. Esra took great care of us and provided important information about the shelter's activities and the animals being cared for. The shelter plays a significant role in the rehabilitation and treatment of homeless and needy animals.

ENCANDER (Association for the Protection and Care of Disabled and Needy Animals) is a living center founded in 2015 by Zühal Kadıoğlu, which takes care of over 450 animals. ENCANDER was established to provide care and treatment for disabled, sick, and needy animals, including those suffering from paralysis, abuse, or incurable diseases like cancer and FIP, in a home environment.

During our visit, we spent time with the adorable dogs and cats at the shelter, loving and playing with them. However, we also learned that the shelter has various needs to help more animals. ENCAN Living Center requires items such as blankets, carpets, unused sheets, pillows, cushions, quilts, covers, bowls for cats and large dogs, toys, and care supplies (combs, wet wipes) to ensure the hygiene and health of the animals. Additionally, products like vinyl flooring and tarpaulin generated during business renovations are also accepted. With winter approaching, heater fans for indoor areas and wet food for sick animals are priorities as well.

You can make a lasting difference in the life of an animal currently undergoing care or treatment at the ENCAN Association by becoming a foster family and making a regular monthly donation. Additionally, you can provide a warm home for the animals at the shelter by adopting them.

We thank all our employees and volunteers who contributed to this meaningful visit. We will continue to help our animal friends! For more information or to make a donation, you can contact the ENCAN Association: https://www.encander.org.tr/
