Reconstruction of Boztepe Channel, Phase 1

The Boztepe (irrigation) channel reconstruction project, the contract of which was signed on 18.10.2022, was built as a branch from Aras River, one of the largest rivers of the Caucasus. This channel, which will be used for irrigation of 9775 hectares of agricultural land in Imişli province on the Iranian border of Azerbaijan, includes many disciplines such as the installation of electricity, mechanical, SCADA and solar energy facilities for energy supply, as well as excavation, embankment and reinforced concrete works. The length of the channel is 42.4 km, the duration of the work is 10 months.
