Pendik-Kaynarca-Tuzla Metro Project

The Pendik-Kaynarca-Tuzla Metro Project comprises 2 independent metro lines with a total of 8 stations with a total length of approximately 12 km. The Tavşantepe-Tuzla line is 7.7 km in length and has 6 stations. The Pendik Merkez-Kaynarca line (continuation of the Tavşantepe-Sabiha Gökçen airport line) is 4.1 km long and has 2 stations. Soner Temel Mühendislik is involved in this project as a team of experts working on the new Austrian method of tunneling NATM. The works carried out by Soner Temel Mühendislik within the framework of the project:

  • Switch structure and shaft of Pendik, 
  • Mainline tunnels between the Pendik switch stations, 
  • Kaynarca Merkez station and its shafts, 
  • Connection tunnels and shafts of Tavşantepe, 
  • Tunnel boring machine tail tunnels
